Overview

The Community Education Foundation has established the Gold Star Fund to provide opportunities for individuals, businesses, and organizations to invest in the success of our community’s children. In the effort to raise community awareness of and financial support for programs that are not funded by tax dollars, the Community Education Foundation actively solicits community support for the projects of the Gold Star Fund.

Working With...

Once a donation is received, the Foundation’s administrative staff works with the school district to implement the project. The Foundation also works with the donor or designee to provide all necessary documentation.

The Community Education Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c) (3) organization under the direction of a Board of Directors. All contributions are deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

CEF Search for Executive Director

The Community Education Foundation (CEF) is seeking an Executive Director to lead the organization’s next chapter. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, development, fiscal management, budgeting, personnel supervision and program evaluation. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic, entrepreneurial and relational leader that wants to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children Preschool-12. The successful candidate will partner closely with the Council Bluffs Community Schools to augment their mission while being a visible leader and education champion in the community. We seek an experienced, resourceful and strategic leader to build on our existing strengths and drive the organization to sustained growth.
