The Community Education Foundation, a 501(c)3 Organization, is supported through grants, donations and fundraisers.

As we continue to build our organization in an effort to provide more support and opportunities for the Council Bluffs Community School District, its teachers, staff, and especially students, the Community Education Foundation is working diligently to offer more opportunities for individuals and business to participate or donate their time and resources to further our cause.

21st Century Learning Center

The Community Education Foundation

co-sponsors the 21st Century Learning Center with the Boys & Girls Club, in cooperation with the Council Bluffs Community Schools.

This free after school learning center focuses on family literacy and educational guidance outside of normal school hours.

Available for students attending Edison and Washington Elementaries, the 21st Century Learning Centers are require parent and student committment and participation after school hours on a daily basis.
